“And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that I had been lifted up upon the cross, that I might draw all men unto me…”
This song is about developing our own personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is about how He is always there
in the good and the bad
meeting us where we are and helping us grow.
It is about grace and mercy.
It is about not giving up as we strive to be better and become more like Him.
Performance notes: Although I wrote this for flute in the accompaniment, it can easily be performed with violin or other instrument.
