About me:

If you were to look in my high school yearbook where the seniors were asked about their dreams for the future, next to my name it would say:

“I want to have my very own white baby grand piano in the middle of a big ballroom and write music about Jesus.”

Fast forward a few decades

I definitely don’t have a ballroom.

And the white baby grand didn’t happen either.

But the part about writing music about Jesus?

I never gave up on that part.

So here I am, trying to make 17-year-old Melinda proud.

But truthfully, I’m here because I have repeatedly felt compelled by the Spirit to follow this path and share my music with the world—even on the days when I feel completely inadequate.

I continue on this path because I want to be a source of peace in a troubled world.

I want to be a light.

I want to be a force for goodness.

And most of all, I want to help others feel the Spirit and come unto Christ.

So take a look through my music, and I hope you find something that speaks to your heart, whether it’s a unique arrangement of a lesser-known hymn or something entirely new and original.

If you’ve found your way here, welcome in! I’m so glad you are here. I hope you find something that speaks to your heart and soul.
