Strangely enough, this arrangement came about from of a personal challenge to take Christmas songs that my friend Lisa didn’t like and arrange them to see if I could change her mind. She never liked the gloria chorus of this original hymn, so I have completely revamped it in this arrangement.
To be honest, this is one of my favorite Christmas hymns, so it was a joy to create this.
I have kept the accompaniment simple so as to not interfere with all the moving parts in the song.
