Aside from the baby Jesus, the angel choir is my favorite part of the Christmas story.

I’m somewhat obsessed with it, actually.

What song did they sing?

Who composed it?

Did the alto line have more than three notes?

How many angels were there?

Did they hold rehearsals to get ready for the big night?

And my favorite thought…

Was I one of them?

I like to think (hope) that I was there in the middle of that heavenly choir in the alto section singing my heart out.

Maybe that is why I feel so drawn to write and sing about it.
