I felt compelled to write a song that wasn’t just about the Savior’s Atonement, but more about what that priceless Atonement means for me personally.
I know He died for me.
But I’m learning that because He died for me, I am able to truly live.
He gives me hope.
He brings me peace.
He gives me second and third chances.
And fourth and fifth chances.
He has healed my heart. And then has healed it again and again and again.
And he does this for all who seek Him.
He’s there for us and with us in every situation–the good and the bad, and everything in between.
Performance note: I never intented to print the violin part in the demo video, but I’ve had so many requests for it that I’m including it. I also notated it for cello, if you have a cellist instead of a violinist. The parts are identical.
Violin and Cello: parts are identical. I didn’t write any bowing.
