This beloved hymn is usually sung or performed as an anthem of faith — bold and declarative.
This arrangement, however, is gentle and pensive, building at times and then falling back.
Because isn’t that how testimonies are? Strong at some times and quieter at others?
But through it all, the foundation — Jesus Christ — is always the same.
He is there through all of the changing seasons of our lives — the One we cling to, the One who clings to us.
